The Air Jordan 16 Retro Original (OG) - Varsity Red / Black (3/4 High Men) were the original colorway of the Air Jordan 16 (XVI),and are set to be retroed in 2008 as part of the Air Jordan 7 (VII) / Air Jordan 16 (XVI) Countdown Package. They feature an all black leather upper with a patent leather toe,as well as red accents,and a clear outsole.The only thing wrong with the Air Jordan 16 (XVI) is that they do not have great traction,as there is not enough rubber on the bottom.This specific colorway features a black leather shroud which hides the lacing system,and gives the shoe a more casual look,which is an added bonus.Features of the shoe include a hidden quick lace system,carbon fibre sheath,patent leather,Zoom Air insoles,and a Jordan shroud,which is a covering for the laces,made from full grain leather.
